Fred and Jean

Fred attended the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys and is the webmaster for the Old Boy's Association History Project.

Fred and Jean grew up attending the Liverpool City Mission in Wellington Road, Wavertree and Jean's dad compiled the booklet, "One Hundred Years - and more" for the centenary cerebrations in 1978.

This Group owes its existence and success to many people, starting with Ariki (Charles Beatson) who agreed to Mary Blyth's request in 1926 to start a Scout Troop.

It continued for 57 years rapidly increasing to include Cubs, Rovers and later Senior Scouts, becoming a Scout Group.
